Umberto Parisi heard about this photo project and called me
a few weeks later to ask if the Fathers’ Day card his oldest daughter
had made for him would make a good photo. He thought it would because one
of the worst things for him about his back injury was that he was not his
“old” self with the children and his wife. He was short-tempered
on his “bad” days, and couldn’t play with the kids the
way he used to.
