Sal Marasco was “squashed like a pancake” in an industrial accident. It was hard for us to decide on what photo would best convey the effect his injury has had on his life because, although his accident was very serious, he has had an amazing recovery. We took this photo at the Kaministiquia River where he used to ride his personal watercraft.

He had to give that up because of all the medications he must take.
