October 8: Landlord's Self-Help Centre Landlord Learning Forum and AGM

Posted
October 1, 2015

The Landlord Learning Forum is an annual event organized by Landlord's Self-Help Centre and supported by multiple partnerships. The Forum offers small-scale landlords the opportunity to learn about services that offer support, and helps them to develop the skills needed for renting and tenant management. The Forum also offers small-landlords an opportunity to network with their peers. This year the Forum is being combined with LSHC's Annual General Meeting.

The Forum begins at 6 pm with the Information Fair which brings landlords and service providers together to informally interact and to learn about programs and services that support landlords. Service providers, including the Landlord and Tenant Board, Ontario Paralegal Association, Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing-Investigation and Enforcement Unit, The 519 Legal Clinic, Smoke Free Housing Ontario & Toronto Public Health, Centre for Equality Rights in Accommodation, Toronto Hydro Low Income Support Program, the Insurance Bureau of Canada, VHA Home Healthcare, Toronto Fire Services, Toronto Shelter, Housing and Support Unit, and Landlord's Self-Help Centre, will answer general questions and distribute printed material. During this time landlords also have the opportunity to network and share their experiences with their peers and enjoy light refreshments.
