Information from Pro Bono Students Canada: In the fall of 2017, Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC) successfully launched a cutting-edge project in partnership with SKETCH, a Toronto-based organization that engages street-involved youth through the arts. The first of its kind, the Trans I.D. Clinic provided free legal information, form-filling services and referrals to over 20 people in just two months!

This winter, law students and pro bono lawyers from Blakes will once again provide assistance to trans-identified youth with I.D. applications, name changes, gender marker changes and other related issues. The Clinic will prioritize youth between 16-29 but no one will be turned away. The Clinic will run for four sessions between January and March 2018 at SKETCH, located at 180 Shaw Street in Toronto.

Event Information:

When: 4 dates in January, February, and March

Where: SKETCH Arts Programming, 180 Shaw St., 2nd floor, suite 201
