Posted
January 18, 2019

Information from Northwestern Ontario Women’s Centre: Join us to discuss some of the recently proposed changes to social assistance and what these changes would mean for individuals receiving assistance through Ontario works (OW)  and the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP).

Topics will include:

The planned change to the definition of disability for ODSP, the proposed OW & ODSP earning exemptions, the suggested 'required action plan'  for those on OW, the LIFT credit, as well as the plans for organizing against these changes.  We will also discuss often overlooked entitlements available to those on social assistance. Time for Questions.
