Community workers are the go-to people for people in their communities experiencing legal problems. By sharing case studies, recent research, and tips that help in this work, we aim to learn from each other and gather good practices to help us in the future.

CLEO's PLE Learning Exchange hosts a Community of Practice (CoP) for community and legal workers in Ontario. We invite you to join our next Community of Practice call on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. EST. Register at Eventbrite for reminders and more information.

What is the next topic?

In 2019 CLEO will focus on helping front line workers who help people with legal programs. Join us in January to learn:

  • What CLEO heard from 200 workers about a proposed "Ask CLEO" service and your thoughts on how to respond
  • How a fellowship on legal information vs. legal advice will intersect with your work

And what new initiatives or projects are you working on involving legal issues? Please email Brenda at brenda.doner@cleo.on.ca about any legal information projects your organization is working on by January 11, 2019.  We'll then send out a summary in advance of the January 16 call.
