Reporting Peer to Peer Violence in Schools

Date:
May 28, 2010 (95 minutes)

This webinar, presented by Zahra Dhanani of the Metropolitan Action Committee on Violence Against Women and Children (METRAC), is an overview of Bill 157, legislation that creates obligations to report and respond to serious incidents in Ontario schools. It focuses on what youth workers and other service providers need to know about the bill and how the new requirements may impact the work they do with youth, families, communities, and school staff. It also includes a look at gender-based violence in schools.
