The Ministry of Consumer Services has a web page that explains your rights when it comes to car repairs. It covers finding a good repair shop, estimates, warranties, invoices, what happens if the shop doesn't do a good job, what happens if you disagree with a bill and refuse to pay, and what you can do if you weren't told the truth about a repair or were charged for work that wasn't done.
