A Worker's Guide
Topics in this guide include why workers need a health and safety law, how workers' compensation helps workers, and who is covered by the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OH&S Act). It looks at the right to know about hazards, the right to participate in a health and safety committee, and the right to refuse unsafe work. It concludes with a list of the general duties of workers and management under the OH&S Act, a glossary, and contact information for community resources.
