Join Luke's Place at the Canadian Domestic Homicide Prevention conference October 18-19 in London, Ontario.

Hosted by Canadian Domestic Homicide Prevention Initiative with Vulnerable Populations, the conference has 4 themes:

  • Working with Indigenous; rural, remote & northern; immigrant & refugee populations; and children exposed to domestic violence
  • Emerging trends in Canadian domestic homicides
  • Domestic homicide reviews in Canada
  • Risk assessment, risk management & safety planning

Luke's Place will facilitate a workshop on using technology to support survivors and advocates in rural and remote communities.

We'll talk about our Virtual Legal Clinic, the Family Court Support Workers Discussion Area that we host, blended trainings we've provided to workers, and our online training for lawyers.

We hope you'll join us at our workshop. Bring your experiences with technological projects, ideas for new ones and challenges you've faced. Let's build technical expertise across the sector!

Hope to see you at the conference! Early bird registration ends May 31.
