Indigenous Peoples' Court in Thunder Bay

How a new approach to the Criminal Justice System could improve outcomes for women & their families 

  • What is an Indigenous Peoples' Court?
  • What model is being used for the Thunder Bay IPC and why?
  • In what ways would an IPC improve outcomes for women (and their families) caught up in the criminal justice system?
  • What approaches might an Indigenous Peoples Court use when dealing with gendered violence (sexual assault, domestic violence)
