May 22: Learn about Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Estate Administration, Kingston

Information from the Ontario Bar Association: Members of the public will have the opportunity to learn about estate planning and estate administration from a local estates solicitor. The seminar will focus on some of the reasons why you should conduct estate planning in the first place and will highlight some of the most common drafting and planning pitfalls you can avoid when preparing wills. The seminar will also include a review of power of attorney issues and a discussion on the roles and responsibilities of executors and attorneys for property and personal care. Members of the public will have the opportunity to ask questions; however, no legal advice will be provided.
