The Northwestern Ontario Women's Centre would like to invite you to an upcoming community information session:

Know your rights. Know your options

  • What is family mediation? What different types of mediation are available?
  • Who are mediators? How are they regulated?
  • What family law issues can mediation be used to resolve?
  • How do mediators screen for power imbalances?
  • Why is mediation not appropriate where there is history of control &/or abuse?
  • What are your rights throughout the process should you choose to proceed with mediation?
  • Are the outcomes legally binding?
