January 17: Helping your clients find good legal information, London, Ont.
A workshop presented by CLEO for service providers.
Your clients trust you to help them with problems. But how can you help when they face a legal issue?
This free 3-hour workshop will:
help you decide if there is a legal issue involved in your client's problem
direct you to dependable sources of legal information
help you assess the reliability of legal information
explain the difference between legal information and legal advice
tell you where to find legal advice and representation
suggest ways to help your clients identify the steps they need to take to deal with a legal problem
*Please bring a charged laptop/tablet if possible.
When: Tuesday, January 17, 2017, 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. (A additional workshop may be added in the morning if there is enough interest.)
