February 6: Community Roundtable: Access to Shelters for LGBTQIA+ Immigrants and Refugees

Posted
January 12, 2018

Ontario Council Of Agencies Serving Immigrants (OCASI), in partnership with Access Alliance, Multicultural Health and Community Services, Catholic Crosscultural Services, The Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto, and The 519, invite service providers in the settlement, LGBTQIA* and/or housing and shelter sectors, as well as people with lived experience as LGBTQIA* immigrants and refugees living in the Greater Toronto Area to be a part of their Positive Spaces Initiative (PSI) roundtable discussion.

The objective of the round table is to provide the sectors with an opportunity to discuss the strengths and gaps in finding appropriate shelter and housing for LGBTQIA* immigrants and refugees (including newcomers) living in the Greater Toronto Area. This is an opportunity for service providers to develop strategies and opportunities for collaboration in order to effectively support LGBTQIA* immigrants and refugees.

This event is free to attend.
