Two new private member's bills have been introduced in Ontario to give the Ombudsman more powers to investigate. Bill 112 would allow the Ombudsman to investigate the actions of school boards and Bill 110 to amend the Ombudsman Act to allow the Ombudsman to investigate children's aid societies.
