This free lecture addresses topics related to the challenges in meeting the needs of the rapidly aging population in Ontario for appropriate care services.
The Advocacy Centre for the Elderly presents:
- Dr. Samir K. Sinha, Care of the Elderly, Could we do better? Dr. Sinha is the Director of Geriatrics at Mount Sinai and the University Health Network Hospitals in Toronto. Assistant Professor of Medicine, University of Toronto and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
- Dr. Andrea Moser, Long Term Care: Are we on the right track? Dr. Moser is the Lead Physician for the Geriatric Care Team at the Algonquin Family Health Team with a clinical practice focusing on the care of the elderly. Dr. Moser has served as past Chair of the Ontario Medical Association of Geriatrics, VP of the Ontario Long Term Care Physicians and Board Member for the Long Term Care Medical Directors Association of Canada
