Toronto Training Board presents TOPs report
The Trends, Opportunities and Priorities (TOPs) Report identifies the three major training and labour market concerns for workers in Toronto and highlights the partnerships and projects currently seeking to address these concerns. The TOPs Report contains labour market data and examples within the city that support strategic planning. This report should be used as a resource tool by organizations to create and implement realistic and relevant support mechanisms for workers within their communities. An important section of the TOPs Report discusses equity and access to training and employment programs by marginalized groups such as Aboriginal peoples, visible minorities, new immigrants, people with disabilities, youth, women, etc. The report, which is reader friendly, contains a detailed summary of eight priority concerns, outlines strategies to address the need for training and employment programs, and sets an implementation timeframe, as identified by community members including marginalized groups.
