This is a public education campaign to ensure that Ontario women know their legal rights under Ontario family law. Are you having family difficulties? Dealing with issues like divorce, custody or support? Plain language legal information on women's rights under Ontario family law is available in 14 languages and in multiple formats.
Please note that FLEW is not able to provide individual legal assistance. For more information about how to find and pay for a family law lawyer, see our page, "Finding Help with your Family Law Problem" (http://www.onefamilylaw.ca/en/findinghelp).
Family Law Education for Women has launched a campaign focused on reaching women who may be vulnerable and isolated due to recent immigration, language, disability, or other factors limiting access. The campaign includes materials covering 12 family law topics in 11 languages which will be available in a variety of formats, including print, Braille, and American Sign Language. FLEW has partnered with community agencies to adapt the materials for specific communities of women.
